About Our Show
Beyond Consulting is the only podcast dedicated to helping our listeners navigate the variety of options available to them after consulting. The story goes all the way back to 2006, when Ken took his first job as a strategy consultant for Booz & Company (now Strategy&).
Like many consultants, Ken spent 60-80 hours a week working and traveling with little time to explore other career options. Whenever he had time to research consulting exit paths, he got stuck and concluded that the only thing he could do was… more consulting.
Fast forward 15 years. Ken now runs an executive search firm focused on former consultants and private equity talent (ECA Partners). He spends most of his days speaking with clients and candidates interested in the various career paths available to them.
One day Steven, Edgar and Aiah are having a meeting about some upcoming client searches and Steven says, “Why don’t we share this information with candidates? They are always asking.”
… And BeyondConsulting was born.
